Why use Twitter for activism?

Twitter is a powerful tool for reporting events as they happen. Events surrounding the Iranian election may have gone unreported to the outside world were it not for Twitter. Activists can, and should, use the web service to get the word out. But there are risks.

Ethical business cards!

Turnfront has been going for a year or two, but somehow we've never found time to get some business cards made. Partly it's because we've been so busy with client work, but partly it is because I didn't want to get some boring, standard business cards with dubious ethical credentials.

Turning strangers into super-activists

Unless you're lucky, most people don't know that your organisation exists. Those that do, probably don't feel any personal connection to it. Even the people you've connected with, don't respond to every request you send them, be it a call to write to their MP, or to send you some cash to help you do more good work.
