Reclaim The Web 3 coming to Brighton

I've had the privilege to co-organise and be involved in two Reclaim The Web unconferences. I say privilege because through the events I've got to know some really nice, knowledgeable and inspiring people. And I'm really excited about the next one.

The focus is on using 'web 2.0' technologies for campaigning and activism. Blogs, wikis, RSS and mobile phones were big topics at the last two events. They look set to be joined by Twitter, vlogging (video blogging) and geomapping this time round.

Activists and technologists are brought together, and both groups contribute different things. The mix is really nice, and it is helped along by a few people who are good at bridging the gap. If you want an invite once the date is fixed, send me an email.

The next one will be in Brighton, but we want to have live video link-ups (again, let me know if you want to do one of these). We're looking at May/June, so hopefully we'll have a nice day and get to each lunch outdoors. Lunch is vegan pot luck: bring something nice and share in the feast.
