Web activism at 'Reclaim The Web'

Reclaim The Web is a web activism conference in Brighton, which I'm organising with Beth Tilston. I'm really excited as we have some great speakers and partipants coming along, and lots of interesting things to talk about.

Rob Purdie of Important Projects was a co-organiser of the first two Reclaim The Web conferences and works with organisations like Amnesty, Greenpeace and Concern. He'll be giving his 'RSS for activists' presentation, which went down really well at previous events.

Josef-Davies Coates co-organised WTF's The Future?, which inspired me to start organising Open Spaces conferences in the first place, and is involved in United Diversity - a radical social change collective. He'll be talking about 'social networking for social change'.

There are more speakers giving other interesting talks, and there will be plenty of chances to have discussions and brainstorms about using web technology for activism. There are still a few tickets left, so register yours at reclaimtheweb.net
