Turnfront has been going for a year or two, but somehow we've never found time to get some business cards made. Partly it's because we've been so busy with client work, but partly it is because I didn't want to get some boring, standard business cards with dubious ethical credentials.
Up-and-coming designer, Paul Jenkins, offered to take a look at our branding, and to help us create a personal, and eco-friendly business card. I'm really happy with what we put together!
The paper is made from a mixture of recycled material and pulp from FSC-approved woodlands. The production process is carbon-neutral, and all the energy comes from wind turbines.
We had two rubber hand stamps made, one with our logo and the other with our contact details. Commercial printing involves a lot of nasty chemicals, and is an industrial process using lots of energy. Whereas with the handstamps, the ecological impact is minimal.
Plus, it's lots of fun stamping things, and every business card is slightly different. A nice personal touch I thought.

We felt the old logo was a bit corporate, and didn't really show that we're an NGO/activist-friendly web agency. Keeping the green was a natural choice, as we're eco-friendly too.
